Safety Policy:

In the construction industry safety regulations have developed over many years and CAM-MAC Construction recognizes the need to adhere to these regulations at all times.

While on site, all CAM-MAC Construction personnel are urged to place the highest importance and priority on safety. In these times of many contractors and sub-contractors striving to complete in each project as quickly as possible, safety concerns too often become secondary. CAM-MAC Construction believes that all accidents can be prevented by including safety as an integral part of every project, and has been adopted the belief that safety can be a cost-effective approach to every project. Level 1 WCB First Aid and annual hearing checks are mandatory for all CAM-MAC employees. A number of our senior staff have completed the OSHA/EPA Safety Program, and Cam-Mac is committed to an ongoing policy of having all employees complete the course.

All CAM-MAC Construction personnel shall be provided with accurate and up to date information outlining any and all site-specific safety concerns, and sufficient protective equipment, including hard hats, eye and ear protection, respirators and protective coveralls, will be made available at all times. Emergency eye-wash stations, fire extinguishers, first aid kits and any other required safety supplies will be provided, and all personnel on site shall be made familiar with their proper use. Additional hard hats shall be made available to permit safe access to the site for all visitors.
